On not making assumptions

Today's “Stand Up For Love” practice is a little harder. Today, I'm working to not make assumptions about people. If I do, I'll work to them go. There's a larger purpose behind this practice.

When I make assumptions about other people, it takes energy. I attach part of myself to those assumptions and I exert energy, real energy, to maintain them. By paying attention to where I am in this moment, the assumptions fade away. The energy I have attached to them returns to me.
